Shim / spacer behind throw out bearing

I just measured my air gap and got 12.5mm or half an inch.
My setup is
Vengeance stage 2 clutch
Built mt82 - 2015
Oem throw out bearing


Anyone else had to add a shim?

I was having some issues with first gear so took it all apart and am rebuilding this hopefully for the LAST time

Measured info on air gap

Slave un compressed 102mm. (4.015 in)
Slave compressed 64mm (2.52 inch)

Clutch fingers to block 85mm. (3.346 in)

Bellhousing to slave uncompressed = 60 mm (2.362 in)


102 - 64 + 60 - 85 = 13mm air gap. (0.5 inch)
