Not a fan of chrome, but those knobs look top notch for the price! MGW; Will they be available in brushed metal or silver by any chance? Also, is the grip ball made of rubberized molded material or covered in Alcantara?

we only have chrome now but may offer a satin chrome as well...the chrome really matches the other small chrome accents in the 2015-16 cars though.,

the rubber grip is a molded solid sphere that is a polymer blend. it feels great and is VERY durable

I'm also interested in any feedback you guys have regarding noise. I hear the mgw gets loud at higher rpm. Barton claims no increase in noise and has a 30 day satisfaction money back guarantee.

not sure where you are hearing this?? We have had no complaints about noise if installed correctly.

Appreciate the info. Saw the comment regarding noise on one of the threads here. Not very experienced so I've just been trolling forums gathering information.
To me the shifter is the most important mod as it connects you to the car. Do you guys have a satisfaction guarantee as well?

I think you guys sold me lol. Hopefully they have a Black Friday sale or something. Last question, is there an increase in noise or vibration inside the car with the mgw?
since the MGW is direct mounted you sometimes get a vibration from the shifter itself. Not a big deal to me since your hand isnt always on the shifter. No new noises that I have noticed either. Car is MUCH more enjoyable to drive now

Yeah not noisy. Besides the engine is all you will hear at high RPM, or tire screech. I honestly heard more from my stock shifter.

I agree. I followed the instructions and installed all the sound dampening that comes with the shifter and I have NO increased sound. I do get a slight vibration for the shifter but I welcome it because now I can feel the transmission and it is not numb like the factory unit.

George thanks for the heads up on the forum discount code. I had one of your units in my previous ride, will do yours again in my 15.

I've had mine for about two months now and there was no added noise IMO...I don't believe there is a satisfaction guarantee...there is a reason the MGW was on backorder because of the high demand...I haven't heard one post with an MGW owner that was unhappy with the product. From top to bottom, its the best out there...If yo have any questions, George himself will speak to you most of the time...which is great!

You are guaranteed to love it though:cheers:

Watched the MGW video on their site. Damn, sold me in every way.

Need to figure out what I'm doing to replace the stock resonator and then I'm ordering this.

Yea, I was swayed away from the Barton.
I ordered the mgw this afternoon. It seems like it has a cult following, and that doesn't happen for average products. Build quality seems very impressive.
So where do we go to shave our heads and get tattoos of the logo?
