Friend of mine has the resonator delete pipe on order, but not getting any shipping info (besides an automated note that a shipping label was created a couple weeks ago) and hasn't been able to get a response from the guys there.

Do any of you know if there is a preferred method of communication with the company or if they are unavailable for some reason?

Did you send Graham an email? I emailed them at [email protected]. He was super responsive to me, and I was working on an issue at 9 Pm at night.
Thanks - I'll check with my friend. When I ordered mine, I was amazed at how fast it shipped, so was surprised to hear from him that he hadn't received his yet.

Muligan, how’d your friend’s situation turn out?
Any one else had recent dealings with Shiftek? How’d it go for you?

Thanks for asking.

He recently received a discount refund for his willingness to wait and was told in the last week or so that the part is "shipping" - but when he asked for a tracking number, didn't receive anything. He's optimistic that he'll eventually get it, but I feel bad having referred him to them, only for it to be such an ordeal.

I hope he gets his part soon - if not, I've offered him mine, which is still new in the box and won't be needed.

Thanks for the quick response Chris

If your friend doesn’t want it, please PM me with $$.

Thanks again!

To funny seeing this post , I ordered my delete from them last week of August and recieved it finally last week of October.I was super busy with life life that I gave them the first couple of weeks before I started emailing them about delay ,first response was super backloged due to many orders. So since I was busy waited a week and still no delivery sent another email and a week later recieved a response they were severely delayed due to wildfires causing damages to packages and I could cancel or recieve a credit of 75.00 , I figured I would gamble and finally recieved after almost after 8 weeks .i will say it's a really nicely made piece but since it got into my busy season I haven't installed yet.Not sure if they are overwhelmed or poor management but believe they will honor there deal .

Wow, I have no connections with anyone, when I asked my custom shop which delete they preferred they said Shifteck, I ordered that same day and on this last Friday less than a week later it arrived, no fuss no muss. I didn’t expect such fast service, same thing happened with the Vorslag camber plates that everyone was complaining about back orders
So I don’t know what everyone’s issue is, I have only positive things to say about both companies and their fulfillment of orders timely
I never had to call or e mail them I just ordered and they arrived
Same with Steeda they actually said one out of 12-items might be late but when they heard I already had an install date they made it happen all 12 arrived quickly

Just closing the loop on this - my friend finally received his resonator delete pipe from Shifteck. All's well that ends well.

Tank - you have a PM if you're still interested in the pipe... figured I'd give you first right of refusal before posting it since you expressed interest.

I ordered mine on a Friday, and had it the next Wednesday. Now the long wait for the weather to clear up in NE Ohio to put it on the rack to install.

The instructions are incorrect. If you cut where the weld is you can't cut the other side that is 2 inches unless you want 2" pipe in your 2.75" factory pipe.

What do you mean?

If you cut the front of x pipe (the smaller diameter section) the rest will butt with the stock pipe just like the stock section did, right?

If you cut the front smaller diameter portion of the shiftech xpipe than it will be too short.

I had mine welded because i cut the smaller portion and also followed the directions where it tells you to cut where the weld is towards the rear of the car. so unless you want a small 2" pipe inside of the OEM 2.75" pipe moving around and restricting air flow follow the directions.

I cut the smaller front portion and I cut the factory pipe at the weld. It fit perfectly.

Yeah if you cut the smaller portion off toward the front the pipe will still but up against each other and the clamp will slide over that and hold it there.

The instructions definitely are correct. I'm not sure how you came up short if you cut at the correct weld like it says...
