I have purchase a set of sway bars from Shifteck and their X-pipe (when it first was released). They responded to my questions and issues that I had immediately. I dont know if they're a large company, but Graham and Ryan are the ones that usually respond to my emails. So far most of the issues...
You should be able to use any instructions for a S550 Mustang. The only real difference is that there are a few more connections for the magnaride struts. I also disconnected the angle ride sensor arm, that bolts to the lower control arm.
Can you try to leverage it back with a pry bar? I didn’t have any issues with my installation. I think I was able to leverage it far enough that the I had the support beam on the stud and managed the wedge the bracket between them.
I seen images with the Ford Performance Lowering springs on and they seem to look lowered to me. Maybe it needs more time settling in. I plan to do the installation next weekend.
Thanks for the reply. I suspect it would take about 7 hours with basic tools and no lift. Also need to include the beer breaks. I may just tackle this myself this weekend.
How did the installation go? I planned to take it to a local shop. Surprisingly, they quoted me 3 hours of labor, but the Ford dealer quoted me 5.5 hours of labor.
Hopefully you can get some pictures up, I would like to see how it looks on 30 profile tires.
You will learn to drive manual by consistently driving it. Sure, you will: stall your engine, and chirp your tires, for your first several days or weeks, but eventually you will get it. My first car was not this nice, but it was a manual transmission. I personally would get it, the clutch is...
I got the California Pony Cars splash shields and the AnchorRoom rear quarter panel protection film. Rear quarter panel tends to get pelted by rocks from the front tires.
Good luck with the sale man. I loved following your build thread, it was informative and very helpful. Hopefully we can see good things to come with the R.
It isn't actually that bad. I think it took me about 2.5 hours, that's including reading the crappy instructions, playing with my kid, and posting to Facebook. I went from under the car, and removed my air splitter and belly pan. I would recommend doing it yourself, you kind of appreciate the...
I had the front clip wrapped the first week I got the car. If you don't plan on getting the entire car wrapped, you should at least consider doing the quarter panel, the area in front of the rear tire. There is a high chance of rock rash in that area.
I was trolling the forum and ran across this post. Thanks OP for posting. I was considering the Corsa mid pipe, but this post changed my mind. I never thought about the MGW shifter, but if we are taking about $$$ it makes more sense to spend it on a part that will improve the feel of the car.
I ended up getting the Flood extended warranty. I did mentioned to him that it doen't call out the GT350, but he told me that it deosnt matter to Ford. It's based off of your VIN number and to Ford its a Mustang.
