I’m sure I could but at that point it will have two lines going straight down the middle... If they could make two pieces that just meet at the point they are supposed to, I think that would look best.... I have to get on the horn with them

My 350 looked just like yours last end Of Dec. bringing it back from Iowa. My R still hasn’t moved since I put it on the rack. Luckily for me we see low 40’s some days so I can atleast go drop the car off soon for full Xpel wrap and tint. I completely understand the little one challenges. I have twin 3.5year old boys. Lol
😂

I still only washed my car once and during the ass end of the garage build I had to pull the car outside to finish up the BendPak lift... I refuse to put the cover back on, and it’s a little dusty.... hurts my soul but freezing cold temps in nyc, sure we have a few nice days but I’m not going to touch it until spring then it’s full paint correction time and boy does it need it.... I only have the ride home from the dealership and they looked at me crazy when I said don’t even touch the car what so ever.... leave it filthy! So I still don’t have the real satisfaction of detailing the crap out of her..... I want a good 24 hours of actual work with her at least! (Two kids under 2.5 am I asking for too much? Lol)

lol, the sales manager I bought the car through knew exactly what I was doing. He helped me load it, it was 10 degress. Think I actually only used two rolls on the thousand plus mile trip back.

Overall pretty good. It's from China. There's a thread over at Garage Journal that has a lot of details and even the information if someone would like to swap out the hoses for something domestic...as that was one of the big concerns over there.
Thanks for the info! I’ve been a member over on GJ for years, just have not posted or visited much in the last 3... I’ll go check it out.

Guys I’m going to end on this- this is my fav thread of all time- so much inspiration in this thread so many cool man caves, and a ton of helpful info out there- being just a normal guy, working 3 jobs, house, two amazing boys, and of course my very own two car dream garage housing my bikes/350R tonight I finally got to light a fire, cigar in hand and drink a few bottles of wine and just take it all in... the struggles of “everyday is Monday” just busting ass out there, somehow it’s worth it and it was nice to take it all in out here - everyone enjoy 2021 let’s hope this year will be a better one be safe to all those who stumble upon this thread

Totally understand and relate.

And I love this thread too!

I don't have a GT350, we Aussies aren't allowed to have them sadly, but that doesn't change the fact that there is something special about a man's garage.

The left side of the garage is for my tools of trade, I have finally got them stored in an organised fashion.

On the right side of the garage is my haven for detailing.

I really need to do something with the floor though.

Man, nice R. That is the color combination that I want. Looking to buy in the spring. Praying that I can find one. Velocity blue, Kona Blue with the black stripe is nasty. Also the shadow black with Kona blue stripe. Those are my top 3.

I know how you feel... We moved into our new home the end of October, I had my 350 sitting in a storage facility since August right after I had a full detail and ceramic applied. Didn't get a chance to get the dust off of her before the temps dropped.. then I drove her to our new home and decided to take a trip down some country back roads near our new place... ran into some "muddy" roads that actually turned out to be cow manure roads... so here I sit with my wheel wells sprinkled with cow manure.. I was able to clean the majority of it off, thankfully most of it was caught by the front and rear splash guards... but it's really bugging me and the temps are below freezing. I know the car will be ok and it's not going to "melt" from a little dust or even cow manure on the underside..... tempted to get a garage heater installed and use ONR on the underbody... Enjoy the family and young kids while you can- I raised 6 kids and the time flies by fast.. sometimes I find myself wishing they were small again.. other times not .. LOL>....
