I have a 2016 GT Premium with 12 speaker shaker pro for reference.
Does anyone have the actual specs for the sub amp? It’s obviously 2 channel running the stock DVC sub with once coil on each channel. Does anyone have any concrete info as far as how many watts and what ohm? Would it be possible to bridge it? Any information would be great.
I think I know what the problem was with my other sub/amp, and at some point I’ll reinstall it and see if I was right, but if I can do something quick and easy for better outpu, I’m all for it. I’ve got a PolkDB+ 8” 4ohm DVC sub in it now. I had an amp on it and had the sub wired to 2ohm, but was having some issues so I put the stock amp back in wired as it came. If I can reconfigure the wiring and bridge the amp for now, that would help until I have time to reinstall the other amp (kicker key 500.1).
