PREFACE:
I am no audiophile!

That being said...

I am replacing my amp and was wondering if I could tap in to the wiring going into the stock sub amp, aside from the 12v obviously. Can I just tap into the wiring for the speaker input from the stock harness as opposed to tapping in at the rear deck speakers? Does anyone have a diagram of the sub harness?

If you are only replacing the subwoofer amplifier, just tap into the sub wiring and use an AudioControl LC2i to convert the speaker-level signal to a low-level signal (RCA outputs).

Thank you!
I had the Kicker 47KEY5001 recommended as not needing an LC2i so hopefully that works as advertised. I'm getting closer to this shaker pro sounding the way I want...next will be a mini 4 channel for the fronts.

Do you know if there is a way to make the speakers louder? The limit is 30, but it still sounds clipped even after using forscan to disable factory processing after I replaced the door 3.5 and 6.5's. I'm hoping a little 400w 4 channel kicker mini amp i have will sort that out in the future.
