What is the deal with the panel that says "SHAKER" under the stereo? I understand the idea, it's just a logo, but doesn't it seem like a huge waste of space, as if something should be there?

Any ideas? Anybody do anything with mounting....stuff there?

I was wondering the same thing. It gives the idea to people that we are missing some options

Also, every stereo option offered on the mustang is garbage even the top of the line 12 speaker "shaker". My 2002 Volvo s60 has a better sound system.

I always here about how terrible the sound is, I like my shaker system. I must have rocks for ears.

I don't dislike mine, except on Sirius. On Sirius it has absolutely no balance at all, because of the heavily compressed audio stream.

I'd actually prefer mine to not say "Shaker" at all though.

I've seen someone mount their radar detector down there. That piece just pops out, there's a tiny bit of space behind it. Mostly there to hide two of the bolts used to hold the bezel in place.

I'm with you on the badging. It's not like it's a well known brand, it has always seemed like an odd mark for the mustang.

I can't even tell mine says "shaker" should the word shaker be painted white?

Not on 2015's - which is a good thing, IMO. It was changed for 2016. I may try and get a base mustang plate though and get rid of it all together.
