Hello all,
What is a good source, without breaking the bank. For a complete set of shop type manuals .

By breaking the bank I mean more then 800 - 1200 bucks.


I am familiar with the yearly subscription online service manuals, not what I'm looking for..

So talking to 1 & emailing the other, I ordered the Helmic CD.

For anyone looking reading the Helmic web site. The only 2020 manual I saw was for 2015 - 2020 and that was a yearly subscription.

A: So I called them, it turns out I can order the exact CD for the year of the car.

B: They are a licensed product from Ford. The same information that the dealer receives. 70 year history

C: Even have a return policy, I call that insurance.

D: Pricing maybe 20 bucks more than the off shore company mention below.

Not real professional, they won't answer simple questions, red flag #1, Really snotty emails. Ok maybe it's some of the customers they have. After 4 emails they deserve em.

Red flag#2, first I did like the idea of the manual specific to the VIN, nice bate . Good marking strategy

So here's what you actually get.
A PDF file and reading the customer comments, it is huge. Biggest complaint no real index lots there, unorganized people indicating 9000 pages, hard to search.

B can down load for 30 days as many copies as you want. Then gone

C not return, cause you do not have anything in hand, when asked the attitude WTF we're perfect, do not question the king. I was not looking for a Chilton manual, is that to much to ask I think not.

D I could write a book of why nots


Bottom line someone wanting a manual for the car. The Helmic CD is the one to purchase.
