I'll bet you a dozen donuts that you'll need to replace the tail light. $250 used on Ebay. $460 new on Ebay. Or, pay Ford $860.
MAYBE a BCMB re-flash will work...dunno. Didn't work in my case.
$135 down the drain for me as well. Said the reprogrammed BCM according to SSM I gave them but I doubt they even touched it. $700 for replacement. I said nope. Going to try and find one at a junkyard or might have to do the random flat panel aftermarket kit. 35,000 miles but 3 months past warranty. FN joke.

Ebay has them new for ~$450 and used for ~$275. Actually, my Tech said that the Ford trouble shooting site that the Ford techs use has the wrong troubleshooting procedure listed. He did not go into specifics.

I'd be more apt to get a replacement factory light unit. I'm not too crazy about the flat panel light units. They don't seem as "Mustangy" to me.
But that's just me. Whatever floats your boat.

Can’t find anyone selling the module from a convertible. Going to have to go to order from ford :curse:

Have you tried to source one from:
www.copart.com

Or LKQ (they are salvage part resellers and deal with a lot of Ford salvage)

Freaking ridiculous. They wanted $200, on top of my bad unit back or they'll charge an extra $50? Wtf, isn't it technically MINE? Told them they can have it once the part comes in, because I took the module out of my trunk to make it easier and just show them what I need. Thank god I remembered to ask for a military discount and got it down to $165 before tax.
