I made the reverse way .I was going to buy a velocity blue like yours but finaly i got a antimatter blue. On my opinion the black rims don´t match well with a dark car so i added a silver profile.
I love your velocity colour and the rimms too.

I dislike black wheels so much that I have two sets.

I did not like them at all when they first became prevalent, but they have grown on me somewhat on cars in certain colors. (Mean look with magnetic.) Even so, I would only consider gloss black because you know when they're clean. Also, mesh style or any intricate spoke pattern seems pointless since it's difficult to see except up close. Black PP1 wheels come to mind. In most cases a charcoal or graphite will show the spoke pattern much better while still giving a darker look.

What do you think of them? :)
Replying to OP:

I think solid black wheels, especially flat black, are lazy and lack flare. I've actually got a Black Accent package car on order, so I'm trying to figure out what to do to improve the look on the wheels. I *do* like black wheels a) on a lighter colored car (NOT on a black car, contrast is what looks good, not sameness) and b) with polished or machined rims, so you can identify the wheel from the tire.

I am ahead of all of you on this, though. This is the car I owned, bought brand new, in 2000. It's a 2000 Camaro Z28 with Corvette Grand Sport wheels (OEM).

Thanks, I put Gyeon Rim Wheel Sealant on both sets before having the tires mounted. The car has XPEL PPF and XPEL Ceramic Coating.

Beautiful. What wax/sealant are you using?

My brother had a silver Camaro of that vintage. Wasn't a Z28 though. I'm trying to figure out if my opinion on this has changed from 2.5 years ago. :)

4th Gen F-bodies get a lot of "catfish" jokes, but I thought the car looked completely bad***. Also, the LS1 is what revived the muscle car era. You can thank GM and the LS1 for the existence of the Coyote.

I preferred 4th gen F bodies to the Mustangs of that time.
