So to start, I have a 10AT 2018 ecoboost and have had it since September. It’s CPO and has 38k miles. Car has been relatively perfectly fine but the trans has always been a bit rough going into drive mainly when it’s cold. Would basically just lurch kinda hard every now and then. I read up on a lot of forums and it just seemed like a normal annoyance with the 10AT. Now today, I was going to wash my car and was going to move it more into the shade. The car was not cold as I had just finsined a drive. Started the car like normal let everything boot up and when I went to put it in drive it kinda hung in the rpms for about 3-5 seconds and then slammed into drive. Not knowing what to do but wanting to see if it’d do it again I put the car in reverse backed up and bit and then put it in drive again for it to do the same thing. Right after the second time a see manual light popped up. What’s my next best move?
