I am close to 6ft 4in and 250 pounds with a 40 inch waist.
My issue isnt necessarily seat position but the dam side bolsters.
I have developed a habit of pitting my hand over my pocket knife clip(right pocket) so that it doesnt scrape the leather of the steering wheel as I get in.
The way I adjusted my seat is such that I have a more upright seated position that is likely higher than many people in this thread.
The problem I had was trying to get my knees away from the dash. Moving the seat back and raising it seemed to help. Then bringing the seat back up to have my arms in a good placement for the steering wheel. I had to put the steering wheel at it's highest spot and farthest extension outwards.
