Hello all,

Will reconnecting the battery after removing my seats trigger the air bag light? I know it triggers it removing them while plugged in. Door was left open while unplugging terminal so the window is cracked. I need it up. Thanks in advance for any info!

Most likely, most of the modules wake up when the battery is connected to do self tests and such, to get ready for the user to start the car. Wouldn't be surprised if the RCU participates in that process.

With that said you'd have to try it and find out. Or just cover the cracked portion of the window with a line of tape or a garbage bag or something.

No unless you start the engine. Beside if you plan on reinstalling the seats, it'll go away once SRS system is complete.
