First time posting. I have an airbag light that comes on intermittently. Just wanted to see if anyone had this issue before to see how I would go about it. Not sure if it could be the cable inside the driver seat because I pushed back against the driver seat this morning then the light turned on but still not sure

The S550 airbag system is very complex and any hard fault code reset needs to be performed using a proper scan tool that is equipped to reset air bag codes because airbag faults are totally separate from the normal DTC faults.

The SRS light and codes can be reset by a Dealership using the Ford IDS system OR I believe some M6G members have reset SRS codes using the Forscan device too.

The below charting was applicable to the 2015-2017’s. Some may still be applicable to the 2018+, but there have been many production changes after 2017 so use caution.
