Has Lund made more changes since about 1 ago? He gave me a revision that fixed the lag, but it's still noticeable.

So the long and short of it is, with the sct x4 in its current state, one is not at risk of potentially getting an 'inferior' tune due to lack of parameter access?

If one were to use data logs for tweaking a tune, can the x4 log all the relevant parameters or would one be better off with the n guage?

Alright thanks. Think I will hold off for a bit longer and see if the nguage makes an appearance in a reasonable amount of time.

just got an email in from bama with their v2 tune, however i tried loading a file onto the tuner. the x4 turns on however no drivers install or anything. the sct software doesnt detect it.

a. either i am a dipshit or
b. i need to use the micro-usb cable provided to me. either way i guess it will have to wait til i get home.

Do you have both USB2 and USB3 on your computer? I've found certain devices only work with a particular plug.

The updates are for the hand held unit only. They do not affect the tune loaded into your car.

You could also connect wirelessly and check for updates. Thats the easiest way. You might be completely updated.
