SCT x4 compatibility

Hello everyone, I am currently working on selling my sct x4 tuner (craigslist) to a local. The parameters for which my car was tuned was with the assumption that there are zero bolt on mods other than the tune itself. Taking this into account, will this bama tune file be compatible with someone else's stock ecoboost, or will they have to factory reset the sct x4 and use the ots tune? please excuse me if this question has been asked before, I could not find anything through the search regarding this topic.
