I had the DS tune done on my Vert and I am completely satisfied with it. I do not care much about more power and such but what I can say is that the throttle response is so much better now. Even the sluggish Wet/Snow mode. Fuel economy has improved by about 4mpg. Even going hard at it. I had another chat with my Dealer and my engine is still covered under the three year warranty.

Is the Lund tune better? Without a doubt. POWER:eyebulge: if your after that kind of thing and want to go to tracks and throw your car around it, get LUND and have fun!

If you haven't done it, don't knock it. I do not need to know that you got a bee in your bonnet about it cause someone else said it was shit. :frusty:

My comments stand and as I said the SCT canned tune transforms the car, are there better custom tunes? Yes!

Also I've tried all these tunes on my personal car and have months on each tune so I can comment subjectively and fairly.

If hassle free warrants is a must then Evans Halshaw and DS is the only option. Though let's note no engine has being lost on anyone's NA tune, OK I lie Bama tunes caused cylinder 8 issues on gen1 Coyotes due to running lean and detonation.

Stock to DS (SCT) transforms the car as I said earlier.
DS (SCT) to Lund/AED drives a little nicer (marginal) and makes more power. If your doing intakes other than JLT or ones with stock sized maf ID then you need a custom tune like Lund full stop.

If you want to run E85 or race fuel you need custom tune full stop.

Mine made so much power with Lund because they allow the knock sensor to add in more timing with good fuel.

On SCT tune timing advance peaked 26-27 degrees on Vpower as base timing is lower and it can only add upto -4.00 degrees (additional timing)

This is because DS is Octane 93 which is actually RON 97.5 whereas Vpower and Tesco is RON 99 so a custom tune can take advantage of this.

If you don't use Vpower and Tesco99 then this is all pretty much mute as a custom tune would only yield like 5-10HP more max.
