AS an update, Finis Part Number 2216661 is indeed the 'Ford Performance Pack 2', but without the Dealer fitting included.
Voucher code, etc all still in the packaging.
GB71499EA is another number on the box.
Strangely the descripter states ' Super charger Assembly' .
The Box is dusty, and...
Just been to BSM Stoke who say 'Five Kits' are still listed on Ford's System under Part Number F2216661 and not 35230015 which I think includes fitting.
#M9603M8A is the USA Part number for their Kits.
So if anybody still requires, get in quick.
This unit is in my opinion 'incorrectly named'. Its a Water to Oil Heat Exchanger wherebye the water heats the Oil. The Water will always be hotter than the oil if you think about it and its sole purpose is to raise the Oil Temp as fast as possible to reduce the wear on the engine during Cold...
When I had my Mustang I used this guy's advice:
'Gibbo's Handling Guide to the S550' which is still to be found on this forum.
Camber Front bolts are essential as mine went all over the place after I put bigger wheels on.
Had it re-set at Demon Tweeks near where I live.
Looks very good job, well done.
My Question is: This Water/Oil Heat Exchanger, is it necessary to actually have it at all?
Why not plug the water connections at the exchanger, remove the water hose/pipework and plug these too. It's only purpose as far as I understand is currently is too get...
Hello,
Go to a thread from 'Gibbo205' titled Gibbo's Handling Guide to the S550 Gt Mustang from 1st March 2016. A lot of your questions will be answered here.
The Camber Bolts are a must if you want to sort the front out, either BMR or Eibach do them.
your inside tyre wear is very definitely...
Hi, mine went to Demon Tweeks who seemed much more switched on than ABP.
Your front Camber value is a bit strong for a PP. Standard PP's from the factory quote around -1.03, Toe-in on a PP is around 0.00.
Have you changed the front strut to hub bolts with the adjustable cam ones to dial in your...
Up-grading the Synthetic Oil used in this gearbox has been said to improve the gearshifts. It was discussed a while ago on a thread that 'Gibbo' used to post.
Yes in Vegas!
The part 's came quickly and the Service people know their product, unlike the majority of Ford representatives we all see here in the UK.
I've been away so hence delay in reply.
The other place I was thinking of is 'ATD Detailing' in Derby DE1 2BU. They are on Clarke Street and use Gtechniq products.
They may be more more convenient than Staffordshire Car Care, who I prefer.
Hi Gibbo,
Have you tried Stewart at 'Projex Design UK Ltd, in Clevedon, North Somerset BS21 6QN?
Tel 01275.337800
They do the MRR range plus others.
Had a UK price of around ÂŁ1300 for a set of MRR GT350 Black Alloys off them a couple of months ago.
May be of help.
