My infotainment screen completely died back in January this year so Ford put in a new APIM. Last month my screen went completely black but eventually turned back on after leaving the car off for a bit -- it has done this dance with me a few times. Well yesterday, I now have this issue. The screen is frozen with all this gibberish. Any ideas what I can do before I contact dealership?

Try a hard reset, disco the battery for 3-5 minutes and see where it’s at after that. Any mods done to the sync software?

Okay, I will try that. No mods. Everything is stock.

After it recovers, go into the menus and find the 'Master Reset' and do that... it will get rid of any settings and put it back to stock settings (not versions)

Sync 2 was kinda buggy like that...
