I’m planning on going to the dealership soon and having them check it out, but I figured I would ask on here first.

Car is a 2019 GT PP1. Initially there was a screeching noise when I let off the throttle after accelerating quickly, at around 3500rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear. Over time the noise started happening when I accelerate quickly as well, anywhere between maybe 3000-4500rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear primarily, but it has happened in 1st and 4th as well. I can’t really figure out where the noise is coming from because of how high pitched it is, but I think it’s from the rear. The noise doesn’t happen every time I accelerate and it doesn’t seem to be tied to how warm or cold the car is.

I’m hoping someone could point me in the right direction, any help will be appreciated.

Can you please post a video with the sound?
I tried uploading an mp4 but apparently it is too large, I trimmed it as much as possible it's still too large. Then I tried an mp3 because the sound is all that really matters but it said it's not an allowed extension. Do you happen to know what I can do instead?

You can upload it to youtube and then link the video here.

Alright thanks. This is the noise while accelerating in 3rd gear although it was hard to pick up on video:

Hope it helps somewhat. Something I meant to mention originally, but forgot, is that the noise seemingly appeared after installing a Roush cold air intake but I wasn't sure if it was just coincidence or not as the sound has gotten worse over time.

I hear the slightest whistling sound around 3 and 4 second mark. It sounds like the air intake actually. My JLT had the same sound as well. Take the intake off and see if the throttle body is dirty at all. A dirty throttle body can also cause whistling sounds.

I'm positive it's your intake though. Check all the connections and make sure it's tight after you check the throttle body.

Thanks I'll definitely check everything over. Although, the video makes it sound more like a whistle whereas in person it's more of a screeching noise. Not really something you would normally associate with intake noise.

The noise turned out to be part of the cat back rubbing against the bottom of the car by the way.

@twotone5.0 Did you ever figure out what the exact issue was? I'm noticing a small sound (almost like a belt squeal but it sounds like its coming from the back of the car, i could be wrong tho, i only hear it when driving) when accelerating around 2k-3k RPM at speeds around 15-25 MPH. After work today I'm going to check out my exhaust and see if it's rubbing against the car but I just wanted to figure this out before bringing her into a dealer.

Hey man did you end up getting this figured out as well? Im getting a really weird Chirp/Squeak primarily in 1st and 2nd gear around the 3k rpm range almost sounds like a pulley squeak but only happens when driving in those ranges. Super noticeable when driving next to a wall with the sound reflecting off. It only has 5000 miles!!

I believe it's like the others said. I think it's a part of the exhaust rubbing against the body of the car. Especially since it's coming from the back for me.
If I were you try confirming if it's the front or the back. The back means it's most likely just something "simple" like a cat being slightly loose.
I'm waiting to bring her to the dealer with my next oil change so they can give a look. I'm not too worried atm.
