So... my first F up with the 350 came today when I took a turn too hot in heavy traffic into a parking lot and I thought I scraped the front diffuser. Had a mini heart attack when I was parking the car. When I inspected the damage I couldn't feel anything or see anything right off the bat, but getting under the car I saw the push pins took the brunt of the impact. They were grown down flat but the diffuser itself was a OK, thank god.

Anyone have a part number for the push pins so I can replace them? I'm super OCD and even though they aren't seen at all, I know they are damaged so I would like to replace them. I did a search but couldn't come up with anything.

Lucky this time. I will be more careful in the future for sure.

No, its called a splitter, and yes, you scraped it. The "push pins" as you call them are rivits which combine two parts into one on the front splitter. There is no part number unless you want to replace the whole damn thing (about $400 retail). Its a splitter, don't sweat it unless the rivits are structurally compromised. I really wouldn't worry about it. If you are that OCD, buy a replacement and leave it in the box because you are going to scrape it again.

And no, my spare splitter is not for sale, but I'm willing to trade it towards 4 GT350 wheels (did I see you were selling a set of wheels?) ;)

and in case you are wondering what the splitter is leaned up against........ :thumbsup:

Thanks for the info. Hoped to avoid this from happening but at least it was only the rivets. Could have been a lot worse for sure so at least the splitter itself is intact.

No problem,

A little black touch up paint will take care of it, but you will scrape it again.

Take it easy

Lol this is funny...I scrape the splitter pretty often...it's like a badge of honor, this car was designed to be a driver's car, and that's exactly what I do, drive it.
