I was referring to the Schropp brace for an alignment being necessary. The other braces don't require removing all of the strut tower bolts, but it looks like the Schropp does.

Not sure. I had mine installed at the same time as my KW V3 kit, so it needed an alignment anyway.

oh that is not good... :-/ takes it from a simple do it yourself bolt on mod to something that requires a lot more time and effort...

Contacted Schropp to see what they have to say...but I would probably go with something else.

I can't imagine there is enough slop in the strut mounting holes to have any impact on the alignment. Even if there is you can mark the struts position before removing the nuts and get it back into position.

Well the idea behind dat is probably that you can remove the middle part without having to undo any of the strut tower nuts and messing up your alignment.

The hinges are basically a bolt and a nut, so you can tighten the f#ck out of them. It's rock solid.
What are the torque specs for the hinge bolt nuts?

are we sure this won't screw up alignment or anything? I can bolt this on myself, but that's about as far as my mechanical car skills go... (oh and does it come with nuts? I see the Ford parts in the US comes with nuts for the strut brace...)

This one uses the original strut tower nuts.
