On the flip side tom tom you have to stick on your windscreen or onto a vent and possibly have cables running over the car, this ones built it.Tom Tom on their maps now give FREE lifetime maps, seems Ford are charging for something which should be free
As for the Sync 3, don't think there has been any updates for ages, where Tom Tom would update 4 times a year
I honestly dont care much for sat nav's more than to get me from point a to point b. Google maps is probably the best for directing regardless as that's now linked up to smartphones with GPS enabled and can determine slow moving traffic, road works etc, but also you can ask it to go to a xyz near a certain location and it will, rather than needing postcodes and such.
Which.. if im not mistaken sync 3 has google/apple play which is that, and all you'd really need for a sat nav (and way way more)
