Scanning for updates

Resurrecting this old thread...

Swapped from the 4" screen to the 8" Sync 3.3 screen in my 2018. I have a good wifi connection but when I ask it to check for updates it just sits there spinning saying "scanning for updates...". Any way to break out of this loop?

Wi-Fi update is really hit or miss. It works for some and not at all for others. Most will tell you to forget it and just use the USB method. That's what I do.
