Not sure if this has been asked yet...do they use the same ones across the engine platforms? Or
Is the auto trans in the EB the same one used in the GT? Same for the manual...

Well if so, it seems that the EB should have plenty of margin for power increases...

They are not the same.

I know the GT manual uses the MT82 (same as the s197 5.0)
I doubt the MT82 is needed for the EB, but I could be wrong. Pretty sure the Auto is also different

Incorrect. Not sure where you are getting your information. The MT82 and 6R80 are the only transmissions available in the Mustang at the moment across V6, EB and GT models.
