Just some numbers I scraped together, that may or may not be accurate. Sorted by torque ratings
When I was car shopping, I was interested in V8 Manual. Ford seemed to have the better engine, where as Dodge the better Transmission. And there is a number of postings of MT82 problems, albeit rather old now, that may be related to too much Coyote and not enough MT82. The Mustang is priced better than the Challenger, but if you bolt on an aftermarket Tremec, that's no longer the case.
Anyone know if the TR6060 or T-56 has reasonably light clutch that is satisfactory for use in rush hour traffic? I like my MT82 well enough but just in case I get the S/C bug and my MT82 complains
MT82 383 ft-lbs Ford 6 speed Manual
8HP70 516 ft lbs Dodge Challenger V8 Auto (2015-)
6r80 590 lb-ft Ford 6 speed Auto
TR6060 600 ft·lbf Dodge Challenger Manual
8HP90 664 ft lbs Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
T-56 Mag 700 ft lbs aftermarket
