S550 front/rear weight distribution?

I have not seen anything specific on this. Given the heavier IRS (that and the brakes accounting for much of the weight gain) and near clean sheet chassis re-design, I would think its better than the last model (engine dependent of course).

Since the battery is not in the rear, that gives up one percentage point roughly vs. a BMW 235 for example.

All the posts on winter driving made me think of this :shrug:

Base Auto, with completely full tank, as it came from Ford:

Performance Pack, full tank, as it came from Ford:

So - they average on the Manual, and Auto:

54.5% Front
45.5% Rear

Vert Is A Well-Balanced Child

From old posts I read, the vert the is 1% better balanced (front to rear) than the coupes.

Verts are heavier, with the majority of the extra weight over the rear wheels from motors needed to operate the top and an additional subframe.

Probably because of this fact, the rear sway bars on them slightly smaller.

Best of all...the sun, moon and stars are standard on every vert sold.

Very frustrating.
Its hard to understand why they didnt reduce front overhang and move wheels forward to get better weight distibution.
PAE car attempted this.
