Installed rxt clutch with stainless line got everything together, primed clutch yesterday pumped a thousand times, reservoir full, today checked pedal went straight to floor.

Is this normal air making its way out? Does car have to be on when pumping clutch? Does it need to be started? I don't see any fluid leaks or anything

I have not seen that, but I would jack up the driver's side of the car about 10'' off the ground and begin by pumping the pedal extremely slow, like 5-10 seconds per stroke. This gives any trapped air a chance to move up through the port in the master cylinder as the piston passes by. Too fast of a stroke closes the port quickly. Once the pedal begins to stiffen increase your speed to about 2-3 seconds per stroke. This can take a while, but if this problem continues you could have a cylinder problem.

Jacking the driver's side up allows air to escape from the elbow line that goes through the bell housing on the older cars so I'd imagine it is similar on the '15. No need to start the car, all hydraulic.

I pumped til pedal back last night, today, went back and pedal pressure still there so guessing was just air still working it's way out which is great! I really didn't want to pull transmission back out.

If all the hydraulics are good you should be ok. Any air left in the system will work itself out as you drive. Good luck with it. You will love that clutch set up. I wouldn't run any other than McLeod.

Yes you will notice after letting the car sit overnight you will have to pump it up again. After that it should be good. I've done a few clutch line installs on 2011+ Mustangs and they've all been the same way.

Thanks! Had me worried. I feel more confident todayou since it's holding.

Hey guys, does the car need to be running when you pump the pedal?

No. Just pump it a lot. I pumped mine for like an hour

Pump it real slow at first. That allows air trapped to escape up through the master cylinder port.
