Just wanted to give my opinion if my new McLeod RXT twin disk clutch I installed:

It's freaking amazing!

If my wife didn't know I blew up the clutch she probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.. It feels a bit lighter than stock actually.

No chatter unless I really bog on take off

Slightly more NVH as I got the lightweight steel flywheel, you can hear it wrrr up.

Install was easy and straightforward. I replaced the pilot bearing and throw out bearing while I was there. The pilot bearing was a pain to locate but installed easier than my WRX's was as it has a collar to help it sit flush.

I'm still in my break in period but all in all for a grand total of 50 bucks cheaper than ford wanted to install a stock shit clutch I installed this masterpiece of a clutch kit. 5 stars so far

op... you did the install on jack stands? Is that the aluminum fly wheel?

I did. Borrowed a buddy's jeep stands so I had it about 2 feet up..
Went with the lightened steel as I heard it had better DD characteristics.
It spins up a bit faster but otherwise feels like stock

Ive been told that isnt necessarily... well... necessary.

Been told both to do it and dont bother, Wondering who is correct. I dont have a tool for that.

Mine needed the crank relearn. It was throwing all sorts of cylinder miss fires.

Mine threw misfire codes as well. I have a mechanic friend with a Ford IDS that did the crank relearn for me and it has been perfect since.

I've been waiting for it to pop into limp mode for the crank relearn but so far I got about 260 miles and it's still going strong

Crank relearn can be done with whipple's tool. I know that it doesn't hit everyone, but you can't really predict whether you're going to need to do a crank relearn or not.

I had to do a crank relearn as well. Was throwing codes P0300, P0304, P0307 - All misfire codes. I took it to the dealer and had the crank relearn done. Perfect since.
