damn that looks good with the stripe delete!

Thanks for the info, one of the reasons I opted not to get stripes was a concern for maintenance. I have not heard of Prima Hydro, so i will check it out. I have used Griot's products a lot and find them a good middle ground between silly expensive products an basic low-price ones.I think I will like your car, mine is a convenience pkg also. I've had to do correction on every new car ever I've bought, dealer PDI or not. They all come with some marring from the factory and transport including this car. But yes they prepped this car. I haven't had much time with the car and all I've done is a foam gun wash to get the bugs off from the drive home and a wipe down with Prima Hydro which might be the best detail product I've ever used. Also I did the plastics with Black Wow which I also recommend highly. Nothing to the paint yet, it's all factory.
I like the stripes on the Shelby but after dealing with them on my Boss I decided they are, at least for me, too to hard to maintain.
Just had to show her just coming out of the shower. :love:Looks Great and vaguely familiar, lol. Enjoy!
I certainly agree that the stripe delete looks better on some cars than others and suggest that this color combination is one of the best without stripes.damn that looks good with the stripe delete!
I have yet to use AC or radio outside of my maiden voyage home 600 miles from the dealership. So your not crazy at all for going base model. The consul filler plate makes it look ALL businessI certainly agree that the stripe delete looks better on some cars than others and suggest that this color combination is one of the best without stripes.
I took delivery of my car about 11 days ago and couldn't be happier but noticed that the door sill plate on both the drivers side and passengers side only says "Ford" with the "Performance" left out.
Hopefully will get some pictures of the door sill plate soon and will post and in the mean time can someone post pictures of their door sill plates for a 2017MY GT350?
This car was also ordered without a radio and A/C (base 920A) and I have gotten a lot of negative feedback from friends and relatives suggesting that I was crazy to go with no A/C or radio but I am very happy with my ordering process. IMO it was never the intent for Carroll and his team to have any creature comforts in the "R" model either back in '65 or now. In addition since Ford worked so hard at trying to take out weight of the "R" model I did not want to add weight back in even though the weight savings was not significant.
Each to their own but just love this car the way it is.
While I have a GT350 (non R) on order - exactly the same color combo as yours - no stripe, I agree with the no AC, etc option. For a track car, weight is the enemy. I bought a new M3 Lightweight, one of about 85 brought into the U.S. in 1995 and it did not have AC - it did not even have a radio. There was not even an option to add it back on.I have yet to use AC or radio outside of my maiden voyage home 600 miles from the dealership. So your not crazy at all for going base model.
