Hi all,

Just picked up some RTR tech 7s and need new lugs for install. Is there a black set you'd recommend for under $50? I know gorillas are a preferred brand but don't want to spend $90 on a locking set.

Wondering what particular sets would fit the wheels best at that price point.

Thanks!

Those aren't expensive. I'd have no problem with those would I want the small diameter though (2nd option), so they don't stick out?
I think it depends on the wheel. My SVE wheels came with the longer ones and they donā€™t really stick out. Could always order both and return whichever ones donā€™t fit

I second the gorilla ones. I also got them with my sve wheels. They have held up well and look good too.

What are the best black lug nuts for the factory 15-17 Ecoboost wheels? I see that the gorilla ones aren't good for the factory wheels. And I'm not sure if the AM ones will fit.

Hoping someone can chime in. That's a reason I made the thread - to get the best set for my particular wheel. I'll change my title to also reflect.

Spend the $$ for Gorilla. Theyā€™re worth every cent
I second the gorilla ones.
^ This. Another vote for Gorilla.

Lugs are a safety issue. Paying for a product with great materials and proper fit is worth every cent.

I went out to RTR's web site. Unfortunately, I could not readily find recommended lugs.

I'd reach out to RTR via phone or e-mail, let them know you're looking into Gorilla lugs for their wheels and see if they can offer recommendations.

Gorilla makes a factory style as well. CJPP sells them
