RTD3 Power Issue

Anyone ever have issues with the RTD3 powering on? Mine is hit or miss and will only power on maybe half the time I plug it in. Not only that, it has a tendency to power off randomly. Sometimes it will stay powered on for a whole drive, 20-30 minutes. Other times it powers down after a few minutes. It has also been powering down right after I data log. As in, I hit stop log, look down and its powered off. I then have to plug/unplug it multiple times to get it to power back up. My log will be there, but this can't be right. I've dealt with many handheld tuners and email tunes over the past 15 years, or so, on a variety of platforms. None have ever given me this much grief. Any thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated. I am going to reach out to HP as well. Thanks.

Nah that sounds like you got a bad one. I tune Coyotes for P1 tuners and we've never seen anything like that. I have my 5 year old MPVI2+ flasher for my personal stuff and its rock solid. Never did what you are saying. I'd call who you got it from and see if they can get you a replacement. Also, RTD4's are about to drop FYI...
