Thinking of purchasing RTD device to primary see oil Temps, iat2, and scan codes, possibly future tune as well. Should I buy one with no credits?

That depends . If you do not plan on tuning right away you can just buy blank one and add the credits later

You need a laptop and the suite to log with the RTD.
