I am back again. Seems I can never get a break and I'm banging my head against the wall now.

Long story short I have a Roush SC kit that I have now modified with a VMP 75mm Pulley, BAP, ID1000s, 170 degree thermostat and some NGK plugs. I also have a modified exhaust system. SW Headers ceramic coated, added flex joints and cut reducer section to be a true 3inch all the way through. Vbands hold the headers and my Kooks CBE together.

After spending so much time in the dealer and on the phone with Roush from a previous issue of lack of power and crazy looking dyno graph, I decided on this setup. When I took it to go get tuned we noticed some knock thinking it may just be a bad batch of gas. Problem persisted through a refill.

I have pulled the plugs and everything seems to be ok. I've also added a couple of bottles of octane booster to my tank of gas, still knock. I've made pulls 1-4 gradually going to redline and no knock. When I really put my foot down the knock goes crazy, jumping to near 7 sometimes.

Figure it may just be a form of Ghost knock. I have now pulled the blower and checked the knock sensors, looked over the headers and CBE for contact points. I found 1 bolt that had rubbed some of the ceramic coating away on the passenger side. I removed it and pulled it away from the header.

Knock still persist, thinking maybe the mounts aren't tightened down all the way.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated and any info I gather or give I will. I am so fed up with this Roushcharger. So much time, extra money and stress with no answers.

I was having issues with circulation, my tanks seem to burn through coolant atm.

I would adjust those clamps so the bolt area is away from the body. Those could definitely be contacting. I just installed my headers and was wondering if that bolt/bracket on the ac line is contacting the header, but I haven't had time to get under and look. Someone else said they used a jack to try and simulate the motor torquing and that it didn't contact there.
