Anybody running the Roush/Ford racing phase one SC that came from Ford racing not Roush. The tunes are different. I see some have issues with the Roush tune but no one has mentioned the ford racing tune. I know they are different as I spoke to one of the Ford engineers at Carlisle.

I have the Ford Racing Phase 1 kit installed. Was not aware the tuning was different from Roush but guess it makes sense. I have put maybe 600 miles on the car since the install with no issues.

I have the 670hp ford kit. No issues. 1000 miles with kit. Kit comes with a pass through device so you don't have to send in your computer (if you are installing it yourself)

Yes, I just opened my console for the first time since the install and found the USB to OBD cable and instructions....installer forgot to tell me about it when I picked the car up (obviously the tune was already installed..;))

I had the F/R kit and was very happy with it. 1 thing I did notice is the injectors are 47lbs rather than the 58lbers that come with the Roush or VMP kit.

With the Ford Racing kit does the blower fit, meaning no need to lower the engine, mod the engine, or cut the hood? I believe with Roush you have to do some grinding? I could be wrong. Much thanks.

No need to lower the engine but you do have to make some minor alterations.

I have the Ford Performance Roush stage 1 kit on my 2016 PP. About 4 months now with no issues. I believe the biggest difference is in the computer coding. Roush is encrypted and Ford Performance's is not. That means you can put an after market tune in the FP S/C. My good buddy has a 2016 Roush Stage 3 Mustang and it's a beast. In my opinion, if you have it professionally installed, you shouldn't have any problems with either.
