Wondering how Roush advertises 480hp out a cai, tune and axle back. The FRPP Power Pack 2 is much lower and includes the GT350 intake and throttle body at ~420hp.
STD vs. SAE or flywheel vs. rear wheel. What gives?

Its just bs, even with flex tune e85 and intake you are at 470 ish crank hp. If they are asuming 20% loss maybe thats why. Gains from the FRPP 2 and Roush should be similar!

I would think you get a bit more out of a power pack 2 since it also includes the gt350 throttle body

This is getting out of hand

They could at least claim whp and if it doesn't deliver on any dyno, money back guarantee!

thats not how it works thats not how any of this works lol!

you dont see automakers advertising WHP why would roush be any different?

For example Mustamg GT 5.0 rated at what like 435 hp? umm yeah its not going to dyno that nor will a GT350 dyno the advertised 526 or whatever.

Point is not a single Automaker claims WHP why would roush?

Yeah I think they're stretching it a bit.

I agree with what you're saying. I will however say this. If a manufacture is going to advertise a number (which is a selling point for them i.e, they make money from it), then the number should be true. If not, then it is nothing short of false advertisement.

With that being said, I take dyno numbers with a grain of salt, there are simply too many factors to take in to consideration when it comes to comparing dyno sheets on the interwebz.

I can see the manufacturer claiming flywheel, but IMO aftermarket should provide rwhp and a dyno to show the power range otherwise I find it misleading.
