Hi all,

Couple Roush questions.

If I buy a Roush car from a dealer, does that 3/36K on the 670 hp car transfer to the new owner if I sell it say in 1 year or 18 months?

If I buy a used 2015/2016 Mustang GT, and then buy the kit have it installed at a Roush shop, does the 3/36K powertrain start from the day I leave that shop?
Second part of this question, if Yes. Does that 3/36K transfer to new owner if I sell it in 1 year, 18 months, etc?

Thank you,
Mike

Warranty is from ROUSH not dealer and it starts day car is originally sold new from dealer and 0 mileage for the 3 yr. / 36,000 miles, not SC install date or mileage.

I just emailed them and Steve wrote back. He said if you buy a Roush car from a Roush Ford dealer that will transfer to new owner. If you buy a kit on a new car or used car, it will not.

I don't understand why it would not transfer to the new owner like the factory warranty on a car. I just bought a 2016 with the Roush charger and 4K miles so the warranty is no longer good? Seems like they should have to pro rate the money spent on the warranty.

warranty rarely transfers with ownership on anything other than vehicles. a supercharger falls into the non-vehicle side even though its attached to the car. same idea as lift kits on trucks, usually only warrantied for original owner.

I was thinking more like a tv or car radio or even a Polaris Rzr or any other motor vehicle.
If they don't want to transfer the warrant they should give some of the money they took for the extra protection back just sayin. Must not have much faith in there product I guess.
