Whipple/Roush question.

The GT500, Cobra's and Lightning's used the factory lower intakes when you upgraded Superchargers. If you bought a Whipple head unit and already had a Roush TVS Supercharger, could you change them out?

No you could not. Whipple is not a TVS like the roush etc. Whipple is a twin screw design...a totally different animal. Inlet is even in the front where as all the others are from behind.

The whipple intake manifold is also far superior to the roush so you'd want to change anyways.

Whipple has more potential, but both can max out the capabilities of the stock engine. My personal pic goes with Whipple though, I enjoy the power throughout the curve, the easy power it makes and the drivability of the whipple tune.
