Roush phase 2 any feed back or experience

I have a roush phase 1 and thinking about a roush phase 2 727 kit. Any one can tell me if it worth it and does the tune drivabilty feel stronger then phase 1

I'm going to go with VMP. I watched a lot of youtube videos from their tuner, Alex. I currently have a phase 1 and hope to do a baseline dyno sometime soon then get the VMP tune.

I never had the Roush tune because I read many times of guys not being happy with it. I was tuned by the shop that did my install, but am now switching to a Lund tune. Just got the tune a couple of hours ago. He suggested a VMP pump booster and IAT harness. I got the Reische 170 thermostat as well.

I have the 727, but never compared it to the 670. I can tell you I'm running really rich with the Roush tune. I'm in the same boat as others, looking at PB, Lund, and VMP.

I can't image what this thing will be like with a dialed in tune. It's silly now. But I want it to run smoother

What i dont like about roush is when i get in to hard from a stop sometimes it bogs . Its tue crappy tune i already had 3 diffrent calibrations from Roush and they cant make it run for the life of them. I curouis if the phase 2 waa better as they dont warranty it? Sounds like it still needs work. So yeah i think a diffrent tune is next as 3 tunea from roush and it still lacks
I am just not sure who to use. I am looking at AED but i neet a SCT tuner to read the roush stategy code to provide to tuner to see if he can crack the roush crap tune

I Went from 670 to 727 kit with roush tune. Changed was not noticeable. Look at the torque curves they advertise. Not much more power under 5500rpm even though you are increasing boost. Tune is rich and Conservative. In retrospect i'd just buy a boost a pump, pulley and get a tune from somewhere else. (but i dont need to worry about it, I have a whipple now )

Thanks for the honest advice on the phase 2 guys. I am going to ditch Roush crap tune and spend my money on a AED tune as roush seems they just cant get it rigjt for there lifes i dont want conservative

Keep the Roush warranty in mind, if applicable in your case. You'll lose it once going non-Roush tune.
