I’m running a 2015 Stage 3 roush looking to go from a phase 1 to phase 2,
Right now here are my two ideas of how to do it. Which would be the best option?

VMPs phase 2 upgrade kit.
  • 82mm Pulley
  • VMP Twin Jet 67mm Throttle Body
  • 56LB Injectors (Options to upgrade to FIC 1000, ID1050x or ID1300x) +$700 1050x (will upgrade to 1050x)
  • Fuel Injector Height Adapters
  • VMP Fuel Pump Booster
  • nGauge tuning device
  • VMP Level 3 Custom Tune
$2900 kit 767 HP (683rwhp) according to VMP

What I have pieced together:

79mm pulley $135

PMAS 120mm $400

VMP Dual fan Tripple bypass HE $875

170 thermostat $60

ID 1050x $1100

VMP BAP $360

Custom tune with Nguage $1000

$3900 RWHP?

My personal opinion,.............go VMP Performance.
Just because of the experience they have with Roush superchargers and their customer service. I hear good things about both.

As a prior customer of VMP on my Roush set up and with VMP’s knowledge of Roush set ups, I agree I would strongly suggest VMP.

looks like you got everything covered, I ran that same set up for a while. I made 650 wheel with it on 91.

Cool question.
I have a 2017 Roush RS3 and last Winter for Black Friday, I did the VMP 730 HP kit and the Dual Fan, Triple Pass Heat Exchanger.
I had the 67mm throttle body off my Shelby, but decided to not use it on this car.
Anyways, Very happy with the results and how crisp the tip in and Throttle response is.
This is on an Auto Trans Car.
About 1 month ago, I also upgraded the Intercooler pump to the VMP upgrade.
Highly recommend this!
I could have got more HP if I had used the twin 67mm TB, but just sold it.

Oh, And the Ngauge is an incredible tuning device. Makes Data logging and monitoring 6 things at once easy and now, it's on anytime I am driving the car, which it is not driven every day.

I would do VMP from my experience with them as well. Have them throw in the 170 deg thermostat and they will include it in the tune. If you need more cooling capacity for the inlet temps you can always add the larger HE later. 56lb injectors should give you enough headroom to be fine with the 82mm pulley. I wish Roush would have done that for the P2 instead of the just keeping the 47's they use for the P1.

Palm beach dyno has a tvs level 3 kit as well. Right now I am on PBD tune with roush phase 1 with only a mak cat delete. Car made 612whp on 93 auto car in a hot Texas day. I am very happy with the tune as well. I am planning to do the PBD level 2 kit which is advertised as a gain of 50 whp only thing holding me back is wether I should install the oil pump gears or not before turning it up.

I would personally go with your pieced together setup, that will make a bunch of power and leave room down the road as well. Plus, if you'd like, I can help you out with the pricing on most of those items to make it quite a bit more comparable. Hit me up if you'd like to discuss a quote. Lethalperformance.com

I might just do their 676 kit, add in the triple bypass HE and 170 thermostat and call it a day

When you say a bunch of power, are you saying a good amount more then VMPs kit to justify spending another $1000 or roughly the same amount?

It depends on what you mean by a ton. A ton to me when comparing kits would be 30-50. And in the grand picture 50whp for 1000 dollars is a great deal. The main reason I say go that route is because a tune from Lund or PBD will pick up quite a bit more power with the supplied mods list.
