I'd install it in the thrash can. The guys at VMP and Lethal were much more helpful than either Roush or Ford. I should of been clocking in at my Dealer how often I was there trying to get my car fixed that they denied nothing was wrong.

Freaking joke of what was customer service for what I paid.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I'm just asking the question of you and some of the unsatified Roush people posting. obviously customer service didn't help you much, but was it an installation problem or a product problem? I had Brenspeed install mine. I was more confident of the tech installing was a little more familiar with the Roush product than just the next man up at a dealership.

My dealer was a Roush certified dealer and had someone trained for it. My intercooler pump was installed backwards. In my eyes that's a huge design flaw. After hitting several dynos and all the shops telling me the same thing Roush and Ford still said they had no proof anything was wrong. My dyno sheet looked like a seismic chart heat soaking.

This was the best out of my 3 trips to the dyno on the hottest day as well. I spent countless hours at the dealer for a product I bought through them to get fixed what they fucked up. Roushs' technical support was of no use whenever I could get a hold of them. I sent them dyno graphs and shop statements.

The other two days I took it out it make 420 then 480 again, never anything higher than what is above.

If you do end up buying a Roush kit have a trusted "Performance" shop install it. Another dealer I visited tried to tell me they could only install it to hold the warranty. On Roush's site it cleary says "automotive service technician certified by the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence"

I wasted too much time, effort and cash on this poor excuse. I will never have any type of Roush badge on my cars ever again.

Cant blame you for that, but that is why I went with Brenspeed. A custom speed shop that is dedicated solely to mustang/ford custom mods and installs. The tech even went over the cooling pump specifically with me before I left so I could visibly see it's working correctly. Must be a weak point in the system for you to have the issue and the guy telling me to check it from time to time.

My Brenspeed - Texas installed Roush 670 kit put down 608 HP to the wheels just a week ago. My engine had 24,300 miles on it when the supercharger was installed. Run's great, got rid of the cold start drive issue, and has gobs of power. Throttle response on Sport has an entirely new definition.

Word of caution to everyone getting the PCM Flashed during their install, have the shop try loading the Tune on Day #1. My car took 5-extra days (with weekend) for the PCM to get Flashed. After two days of Brenspeed and the local Ford dealership trying to help them get the Tune loaded, Roush finally had Brenspeed send the PCM overnight to them so they could load the Tune onto it. Brenspeed worked very hard to resolve the issue, but my PCM refused to save the Tune. Initially this looked like an early build issue, my 2015 VIN ends with 302002, but then Roush explained to Brenspeed that they have to pull the PCM and Flash them on the bench about 25% of the time.

I can completely understand being furious that they could not diagnose the issue (I'd be @ the dealership shouting as well). But, once they figured out it was the IC pump installed incorrectly, why would you scrap out an $8K+ s/c install?

They never figured it out, Manuel at Midnight Performance did. I really can't explain to you the frustration I went through. The way the dealership and Roush "handled" the problem drove me away. Dynos and shop time elsewhere was not free and I won't get any of that money back. That's not even including all of the countless hours spent in the dealership going back and forth. Staff would see me a mile away and get the door for me then tell me to clock in. It was absolutely ridiculous. People on this forum were much more helpful with diagnosing another company's product.

Straight up, I don't want to give these people another penny of my hard earned money.

The kit is now installed on another car making over 650whp with the auto tranny.

I have plans for the future not involving their SC.

These guys at Brenspeed do a great job and really know what they are doing on Mustangs!!!!! They put in their custom 91+ tune when my car was NA and it was fabulous. They also installed my Roush SC'er. Tech was very thorough in going over everything and the installation was perfect. All wire harness put back just like factory. Spring rolls around they will be installing the Phase 2 with some suspension. Mustangs/ford are all they do. Small enough for great customer service but big enough to get any job done! Can't wait for spring now!!!!

I've had nothing but the best of experience in my roushcharged car and wonderful interactions when working with Roush Performance staff. The reason phase 2 took so long is because they are adamant about vigorously testing their products before releasing them to the public. I was over anxious for phase 2 as well and almost went to an outside tuner instead of waiting. But once their rep explained it was delayed due to the need of more testing it made me wonder how much testing outside companies do.. And i decided to wait for the guys at Roush to release their tested and proven, safe setup!

Well said, I also have thought about going with a VMP tune but my car runs flawlessly with the Roush tune. Why try something when what I have runs so good. My only criticism on the Roush tune is the fuel shut off at or around 7300rpm I wish it would get a little higher. Other than that love my Roush SC'er. Phase 2 this spring once I get the car back out!

I'll make you a deal you can't pass up and then you can let everyone know the real difference :)

Roush starts the cut off at 6900, the 47's don't have enough capacity to go much higher in rpm without a BAP. That helps a little more. Highly recommend a Lund tune and some bigger injectors, then you won't be handicapped with rpm or fuel limitations.

My Roush cuts off at around 7400. Well over 7K. Where are you getting this 6800 from?
