I haven’t been in hot hot weather with mine yet but with the vmp triple pass I’m 40-60 deg higher in temps from amb just normal driving.
I’m planning to install a better coolant pump in a week or so to help cooling.

About the same as me then. I think people are all over the place with this issue, from what I have read.

I installed the rubber guard on the JLT intake last night. Going to add Water Wetter/Royal Purple to the IC tank. Also going to remove the bumper and shave down the back of the grill to get more air into the intake area. Then, see where I'm at.

I agree. So my setup is rtr grille with the Big mouth air inlet .
I have the roush air box still. Lookin into getting the JLT in a week or so.
Please post up results on the coolant additive as that’s my plan as well.

Update!!

Very strange. When I checked the intercooler tank the other day, it was churning well. Let it run in garage tonight for 15 minutes to circulate the Royal Purple Ice. Then went for a drive for 10 minutes. Opened good and IC tank fluid was sitting still. Was able to open the cap and the fluid was barely warm. So, zero movement of fluid. The radiator reservoir was hot.

IAT2’s were at 145 with hood open and 68 degrees outside.

What’s up guys?

Turn the A/C on and see if the pump runs.

Hmm. Are they tied together? Wasn’t aware of that. But I will try and see.

Do your IATs go down at WOT? In my experience that's how it works with PD blowers on street cars vs. with Centri blowers the IATs go up. It's been a while since I switched to a custom tune and started using IAT2 post blower vs IAT at the MAF. I can't remember if it went up when reading at the MAF. Never the less, on my Whipple car, the IAT drops about 10 degrees at WOT. I should preface by saying that's driving the car vs. on a dyno. None of that likely helps but I thought it might provide some additional data. Your IATs are def high. The only time mine got that high is when the pump failed. When I ran the closed air box with the Whipple, I would see some 130s while sitting idle but they would drop to 110ish when moving. That was IAT at the MAF though.
