Full catbacks for around $500, most 304 or 409 stainless for similar priced performance cars, selling axle-backs for 500-700 is completely bonkers, they are massively marked up for companies to rake in the profit. those axle backs should be about $250-300 considering what little bit of product you actually get.

Just like that turbosmart bov...other cars they selling it for $150, the one out for mustangs that's basically the same size and design...$250-300.
Yeah, paying that new car tax. As the price of Mustangs has gone up so has the price of parts. I know some companies offer a higher quality product and you pay for that, but some of the prices are over the top to me.

That BOV might be an exception somewhat. I think it is actually the same part for all the ecoboost cars. The price difference comes from needing additional parts to make it plug and play on the mustang.

For the prices of axle backs on the mustangs you can get 304 catbacks for other performance cars.

Some of the parts for the EcoBoost Mustang are far out of my understanding for car parts pricing. The car is new and it is mostly with a lot of things in live. If you like to be the 1st who has it - you gone to pay for it. Examples: Video games/ gaming consoles/ electronics anyways (phone/computer)

To sell thermostats for $250, catch cans for $300, BOV's for $250 is crazy IMO. There are other things I have my eye on, like introduced prices some vendors give us. (COBB, WMS,RPI, FFTec to name a couple)

If you can wait, I am sure prices will drop for exhaust systems because there will be more vendors for it later on. I did spend already $1,700 CAD for parts & shipping , vendors selling them later on for much more.

The ROUSH exhaust is on my list, if I am getting one. But with the low CAD in the moment - there is no way I am jumping on it. It is one of the best sounding exhausts for the EB IMO so far. I wish they would rumple like the ABARTH systems. But for now the factory one will do fine for me.

I find it ridiculous that we pay this much for these parts.

I bought an extremely high quality downpipe for my GTI for $399.

I bought a Borla catback exhaust for the GTI for $615.
I bought a Magnaflow catback for it for $475 shipped.

Bought a turboback for $1000. This was the most expensive variant -- came with a cat & resonator...

These parts are ridiculously expensive lol. Supply & demand is currently a pain.

I do love the car, but I'm hoping that turbo swaps, etc won't be as ridiculously overpriced as the rest of this stuff lol.

Did it change the tone at all? Or just increase overall volume of the system? I was thinking about swapping out the resonators and hoping to find a slightly deeper tone. I think if we could get it similar to MagnaFlows it will sound pretty nice with the Roush mufflers.
