Just got my Roush SC kit installed yesterday. When reading the IAT temp on the gauge it's reading consistently within 1 degree of the air temp. It was running about 6 degrees higher than the outside temp before. Can anyone tell me if the reading you get on the speedomter for IATs is correct once the Roush SC is installed?

Also, I went against a AMG s63 from a dig to 120 and afterwards I raised the hood and checked the SC and it was very warm but not so hot that you couldn't put your hand on it. Kind of expected it to be a lot hotter.. Overall I love the power. Could be faster from a dig. The amg was right with me (hard to get the jump from a dig on a awd) until the A10 started ripping off gears.

AS far as sound. It sounds more like a scream than a whine. My gf was following me and she thought it was the tires when I was going wot. It's definitely loud. Not sure if the sound changed for the 18+ SC kit but I have a Roush axle and xpipe and you can still hear the SC it if you're inside or outside the car.

I use an HP Tuners nGAUGE, to read IAT2. Post supercharger air temp.

So I take it the reading on the IAT on the speedometer gauge is not very useful.

Correct. You want to see IAT2 temps.

Roush blowers tend to run hot. You need the IAT2 temperature not the one in the gauge.
