Because most are in 4th gear. PBD did back to back testing, same dyno and similar tune (same timing and airfuel). With 1psi less and cats, we made nearly identical torque and still More power across the board.

On our dyno day a few weeks ago, every S550 made over 540rwtrq, some in the 560-570 range.

The "torque" reference is more on the tune then the sc. take tune out and you'll see nearly the same torque but of course more power.
Here in the UK I can only dream of getting the figures you guys get in the US.I have whipple stage 2 /whipple tune on s550 auto RHD stock headers and after 3 visits to different dynos (maha msr 500,dynojet,sportdyno) the best torque I get is 455tq ,all on UK 99 octane (shell v power) ,all in 4th gear.
Best HP at rear wheels was 560rwhp(dynojet),worst HP at rear wheels was 450rwhp !! (maha) .
I am as I speak having a Lund tune put in.Either dynos in the US are prone to flatter ,or something is wrong with the UK tune, and it is not my car only as the mechanic putting lund on my car has the same setup on his mustang and gets similar figures.

5th gear is 1:1 where it shows the most torque. 4th gear typically shows 20-30 less. These are all manuals as well, not sure what you have there. We've also recommended turning "Knock Limiting" to OFF as that is the ONLY way it will make that low of power (when on).

I seem to have lost my dyno from my 2015 car but it was almost identical to Jason's. My new 17' auto hits the Dyno soon and I'm confident it will be as impressive as my last car.
Interested in results.

I've personally never put my car on a dyno...so there goes your theory. Good job for enjoying your car tho lol

Not a whipple fanboy here.. I love all forms of boost.
I agree... I love all forms of boost. I run a 3.4 Whipple on my Cobra. Just poking fun at you.. Excellent comeback!! :headbang:

Did you just tell him to turn the Knock Sensors off? Why would you do that?

This is pretty common. The sensors are very sensitive. They pick up false knock and pull timing for no reason. Mine are de-sensitized not all the way off.

I think he means to turn that switch off inside the Whipple Flare "flight control" software not inside an actual calibration. Doing this still gives us the stock knock limiting protection it just takes away the extra sensitivity I believe.

Dustin please correct me if I'm wrong
