Not to sound snotty, but that's really a waste. Why don't you just do a Blackstone oil report? I do it for all my vehicles. Not only will it save money on changes, gives you heads up on potential problems, just saying.

Because saving money isn't the point. Lavishly spending money to future proof the motor is. We use expensive oils not to stretch oil-change intervals, but for the oil to be cleaner during the normal intervals.

Grumpy, cheap old-timers resolute in stretching a buck until it snaps are Blackstone's main customers.
