No problem. Yep I believe I did. Thanks again! How you liking the new steering wheel?
I got about 150 miles on my Beith now I love it feels great and I like the way my hand fits in the indent for shifting in manual mode. By far best aftermarket wheel I have ever had

Anyone order any rock guards for their new GT500 for the front? I’ve noticed some loose gravel collects inside the air gap. Anyone else noticing this? Thanks

Wow Jason,
I picked my car up today and there was gravel on the trim behind the air gap. phooey!... Before I even drove it! The salesman had just run down to fill it up with gas and back. As such , I have already ordered the Rokblokz's guards as Jaime says the parts for the 350 fit nicely.

Thank you Both!

George

Get the jaeger brothers rock guards. Dont bother with the stick on ones, they suck. I went through two sets of the zl1 addons rock guards, they kept falling off at speed.
I have this same problem on my Bullitt, the front separated from the 3m tape.

I have used the ZL-1 Guards on my GT350 and they work great. Since the Jaeger Brothers version is just held on by wind lace, I lost 2 sets of those. So I changed to the ZL1 version and haven’t lost any since. They use 3 push-pins, double stick tape and a clamp at the top.

Well, I looked at installing the set of ZL1 guards on my GT500. Turns out the new plastic fenders do not have a lip at all. Just a straight edge. So neither the ZL1 nor the Jaeger Brothers version will work.
Have to find another style that will mount with the straight edge....

I can see the reasoning for these for street purposes, but wouldn't these kind of defeat the purpose of the aero design on the track?

If you use the JLT ones, they are foam and can be removed.

That little “aero” looking piece behind the tires would have no effect on the track. Its just for looks.
We use the guards to help minimize the black goobers all over the side of the car kicked up by the sticky tires.
