How many miles, and which Continental Extremes?....my Continetal Extremes didnt last long...
Continental Extreme Contact Sports which only lasted 13000 miles lolHow many miles, and which Continental Extremes?
Which Michelins did you get?
13K miles is a little low for MPSO tires. You must drive hard, they should last 15K-18K milesContinental Extreme Contact Sports which only lasted 13000 miles lol
Gave up on the above and went with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's
Michelins don't quite have the grip as the Continentals though close but of course the Continentals were summer tires.
Well I drive like a complete freakin maniac lol. The car is also lowered and has special sport suspension which while provides stunning handling on a dime it probably isnt good for tire wear either, thus the 13000 miles.13K miles is a little low for MPSO tires. Exactly. Those tires lasted plenty long, considering how you drive.Well I drive like a complete freakin maniac lol. The car is also lowered and has special sport suspension which while provides stunning handling on a dime it probably isnt good for tire wear either, thus the 13000 miles.
It wouldn't be that much money, as MPSO tires should last 18K miles. And looking at the tread-wear rating for UHP A/S tires (around 500), they don't last that much longer (maybe 30K miles IRL). Plus, for every $1 you save, you're missing a g-force induced grin.13,000 with Summer tires or 45-50K with UHP A/S
I'll take saving money for 1000 please.
Wut???Cause road noise, I had the all seasons on my last car which had road noise and switched and it ran a lot quieter …the only reason lol
While I haven't switched, I have a base GT non PP, I do have the stock pzero A/S and was genuinely surprised how quiet the car's road noise was when i picked it up. That was 30k ago, still just as quiet but i have had 3 tires replaced under warranty in that timeframe. There is some road noise for sure, but it's way more quiet in the cab than I would have expected from a mustang of any vintage. Just FWIW, not super helpful i know.If anyone has changed to all seasons and it sounded quieter let me know!
