So I have a 2020 Mustang GT PP1 and just trying to figure out if the road noise is normal? I don’t expect our cars to be quiet but if I focus in on it … its kinda loud. 13k miles, original tires, tires tread looks good .. normal?

Yea the original tires seem to be loud, I can hear road noise even driving super slow, I wasn’t sure if it was the original tires maybe being somehow worn or something …sounds like it’s normal so I am good?

I ll bet on TIRES. Especially if they are summer performance tires and 1/2 worn.

At 13K miles your tires are close to needing to be replaced.

They last 15K-18K miles.

Next season?

Your tires are probably 7 years old. They've aged-out by time.

And those tires were shit to start with.

I don't know, my car is extremely quiet but then again I don't have a V8.

Most road noise is tire related usually.

I just put those on my Stang after my Continetal Extremes didnt last long. Road noise and ride seem pretty good to me on the new Michelin's.

Can you post a picture of the tread of all 4 tires? Sometimes tires "look good" but have cupping or other wear that causes noise.

Your car is a 2015. It was probably built in 2014. The tires are older than that, possibly 2013.

It's a real possibility your tires are closer to 9 or 10 years old. You should go check the date code on them.
